PRICING

Free while we
prove it. Paid when we have.

Safr will be a paid membership. Not today — not until we've shown you a year of fares you'd never have found. But you should know that now, because finding out later is how people end up feeling tricked.

There won't be a free tier after launch. Safr will be members only. We'd rather charge a fair price to people who use it than run a thin free version for everyone.

Why no free tier?

Why membership only, and not a free tier

Because deals are finite. A cheap fare exists because an airline has a handful of seats to move. If ten thousand people get the same alert, it's gone in minutes and nobody benefits — least of all the people we sent it to. A bounded membership is what keeps a deal a deal.

Because the alternative is worse. Free products get funded by advertising, by selling data, or by ranking whatever pays most. We've promised on our disclosure page that we'll never do any of those. A membership fee is the only funding model that leaves our incentives pointing the same way as yours.

And because affiliate commission isn't enough. Flights pay 1–3%, and several of the airlines whose fares we publish most often pay us nothing at all. We publish them anyway. That's only sustainable if members fund it.

What that means for you: use it free for as long as early access lasts. If it's worth AED 99 a year by then, stay. If it isn't, we haven't earned you — and you'll have paid nothing to find out.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Questions about money.

So this becomes paid — when?

Our intention is 2027, once we can show a full year of price history and a track record of fares worth catching. We'll email everyone well in advance, and nothing will start charging without you actively choosing to continue.

What exactly does "founding rate" mean?

If you create an account during early access, membership costs you AED 99 a year rather than AED 179 — and that rate is locked for as long as you remain a member. Let it lapse and you'd rejoin at the standard price.

Why yearly and not monthly?

Because good deals are lumpy. You might get nothing for three weeks and then two extraordinary fares in a day. A monthly bill would have you cancelling during the quiet stretch and missing the fare that pays for the whole year. Annual matches how the value actually arrives — a single caught family fare covers several years of membership.

Will there be a free version after launch?

No. Safr will be members only. Cheap fares are a limited resource, and a free tier would either dilute them for everyone or force us to fund the service by selling something we've promised not to sell.

What happens to my account if I don't subscribe?

Your account and saved deals stay, and you can rejoin at any time. You just stop receiving alerts. We'll never sell your data or hand it to anyone else — see the privacy policy.

Will there be ads?

No. We earn a small commission when you book through our links, which costs you nothing and never influences which deals we publish. We don't sell ad space, take payment from airlines for placement, or sell your data. Full disclosure.

Do I need a card to sign up now?

No. There's no payment form anywhere on this site. We also never take payment for flights — you book direct with the airline.

Is AED 179 final?

It's our current intention, not a commitment. It's roughly what a single caught family fare saves in one go. If the deals aren't good enough to justify it, we won't charge it.
